Transits

The planets' current positions and the aspects they make to your natal chart.

Quick answer

Aurapure's transits show where the planets are right now and the aspects they make to your natal chart, computed with Moshier ephemeris and the same orbs as the natal chart. Enter birth date, time, and place: the calculation is free.

How to read transits

  1. 1Enter your birth details. Date, time, and place: used to compute your reference natal chart.
  2. 2Run the calculation. Aurapure places the planets at the current instant and measures the aspects they make to your natal chart.
  3. 3Look at active aspects. Ongoing aspects point to the symbolic themes of the moment: activations, tensions, openings.
  4. 4Put it in context. Transits describe the present sky climate — they do not predict specific events. The Moon shifts within hours; slow planets stay active for weeks or months.

What are transits?

They are the planets' current positions compared with the natal chart. When a transiting planet forms an aspect to a natal planet, that theme is symbolically «lit up» in the present.

How do you read them?

Look at which transiting planets touch which natal points and with what aspect type (trine, square, conjunction…). Each combination has a traditional meaning, to be read as metaphor, not as a certain event.

What moment do they use?

The current instant (server time in UTC). Slow planets (Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus…) move slowly; the Moon crosses aspects within hours.

Why are they useful?

To observe the symbolic climate of the moment and compare it with what you are living. They do not replace conscious choices: they offer an astrological compass, not a predictive horoscope.
