The judgement
It is hexagram 61 of the I Ching, formed by the Lake trigram below and the Wind one above: six lines, three for each trigram. Inner Truth is wind over the lake: an emptiness at the center that makes the crane fly. Sincerity moves even what is stubborn, if it is true.
Trigrams
- Lower
- 兌 Lake
- Upper
- 巽 Wind
What it means today
The center is empty and true. Rhetoric is not needed. A yes and a no born from the center move. Cultivating this truth is the work.
Classic image
Wind over the lake. The wise person discusses the courts and delays the sentences.
Love
In love, say the true without theater. Intimacy is a shared emptiness, not a script.
Work
At work, credibility is the capital. A sober, true communication is worth more than a campaign.
Relationships
In relationships, listen to your center and the other’s. Lateral words are wind; the center is lake.
Decisions
Decide from that point in you that is not performing. If you cannot find it, do not decide yet.
